KICKZ: Air Jordan 1 OG Black/Gold aka “Gold Rangers”
I remember back in the day when I was a sophomore in high school that the Jordan 1 was released with an all patent leather makeup in 3 different colorways, and they were ALL frresh. This new upcoming pair brings back memories of that black/gold patent leather pair. But this time around will be given the original hi cut & Nike Air treatment along with a gold speckle sole to complement. The finished product is, in my opinion, an upgrade on the already classic model and is one of the frreshest pairs of 1’s I’ve seen. I love these! Coming April 13th and retailing for $140. Don’t sleep.
Doernbecher x Jordan IX “Gold Ranger”
Yo props to the kid who designed these. I’ll gladly donate some bread to his cause. These go great with the gold ranger fit. #Phrresh
Memphis Bleek x Trick Daddy x T.I. - Round Here (Prod. By Just Blaze)
When I first heard this I thought this was the hardest schitt ever. This ish still goes HAM, and I still bump this joint to this day. An all time favorite throwback of mine. Would’ve been dope to have seen an LA version.
I’ve had my computer in the shop getting fixed on since Saturday afternoon and that mug is STILL in the process of being fixed. This has been my reason for the lack of posts. My bad y’all. Soon as I get my thang back, the phrreshness will be back. Pinky Promise. ;)
2001 NBA Finals. One of my favorite series ever. Y’all know who won that.

Before Westbrook and Durant there was…
I got a personal gripe with the current OKC Thunder team. Yes I am aware they are a championship team who, despite losing to the Heat in the Finals, have emerged as the best team in the Western Conference and will come back hungrier and more motivated than ever and will be a force for years to come. But the Seattle Supersonics were a dope franchise and one of my favorite teams. Gary Payton was a favorite player of mine growing up. And what sucks is that while they were trapped in mediocrity they were starting to be on the rise after they drafted Kevin Durant. But then Howard Schultz, CEO of Starbucks, sold them to OKC native Clay Bennet and his investment group who didn’t have any intention of keeping the team in Seattle. Schultz sold the team to them because they offered the most money (only giving in to a certain stereotype that I won’t get into). Now the team is in OKC and renamed the Thunder and the rest is history. How can you move a signature franchise like the Sonics? Bottom line, Seattle should be having that success that OKC is having. It’s great that OKC has a team and their fans are awesome, but the underlying shady politics behind the current team makes me hard to get on board and root for them (plus I’m still salty the Lakers lost to them). But I’m always and forever an NBA fan and will just have to live with what it is. I guess us NBA heads will just have to remember them, just like the Charlotte Hornets, and the NBA on NBC.

“…I got da kron, talkin’ bout da bomb!”
King T - Da Kron (Prod. by Dr. Dre)
If you up on this schitt then you definitely on your We$t Coa$t tip. King T is one of my favorite rappers ever. This track was off his Aftermath album that was never released, which was unfortunate because with the likes of Dr. Dre, Battlecat, and DJ Quik behind the production, turned in a classic album. Check out the tracklist and get to e-diggin’ on this hidden gem.
Greatest Reebok sneaker ever. These have been on my “I’ve Always Wanted These Too” list. I might just get them. If not now, later…ALTHOUGH I will say I prefer the suede joints over these leather ones.
